Restore to a new computer form Veeam Endpoint Backup

Post by iversa »

I have a backup form my old computer that crashed. Now I want to restore files to my new computer. How can I add the backups form the old computer to the new once Veeam Endpoint Backup installed? I don't want to restore a full volume. All I want is restore files to the new computer.

Help please!

Hi Gerhard,

You can start a File Level Restore and select a previously created backup. Once done - you should see a backup browser, which can help you to recover the desired files.

You are welcome. Do not forget that restore wizard automatically locate the backup files made on the current computer; however, you can go Back to the very first step of the recovery wizard and ‘Browse’ for another backup file manually.
