v9 U1 Silent install - issues unpacking
Wondering if someone can give me a hand here - don't know if it's just me not doing this properly or if something is missing...
Trying to unpack update 1 in order to perform a silent install, however whatever I do I can't seem to get the package to extract via command line....
"c:\downloads\VeeamBackup&Replication_9.0.0.1491_Update1.exe" /q /c /t:c:\VeeamData\v9u1\unpacked
^^^ this is still popping up the GUI on me - it's worked in previous versions so wondering if something has changed, something is missing, or if I'm just going crazy
thanks

Additional command-line options are in this article - Installing Updates in Unattended Mode

Re: v9 U1 Silent install - issues unpacking
Looks like a bug since I got exactly same behavior in my lab. Can you submit a support case - while I contact our QA team?

Re: v9 U1 Silent install - issues unpacking
Mike,
I've reached the QA team and it seems that Help Center article was not properly updated. In v9 the syntax was changed a bit and the ‘unpack’ step is no longer needed. Try commad to install update in silen mode:
