Veeam Cloud Connect backup Performance

Hi all!
I want to test Veeam Cloud Connect for Service provider.
Now i have installation like this:
Site1: Veeam BR with trial CC License + Veeam Cloud Gateway + Veeam Backup Repository.
Site2: VMware vSphere + Veeam BR + Veeam Proxy\Veeam Repository.

I want to backup my data from Site2 to Veeam Cloud at Site1. All seems fine, i create tenant at Site1 and connect cloud repository with this tenant at Site2.
I setup my test backup job (Site2) to cloud repository (Site2) and maximum backup speed, what i can see near 20MB/s.
When i backup to my local repository at Site2, my speed around 200MB/s.

I know, that Veeam backing up data to cloud in 1 thread, and i setup my proxy for 1 concurrence task to compare local backup speed and cloud backup speed. But 10x slowest seems too strange.
I have connection to internet around 800Mbps at Site1 from Gateway, and 1000 Mbps from backup proxy at Site2.

What can i do with my cloud backup speed? is there some tuning?

Any chance you are using wan acceleration for your tests?

I have already deployed WAN accelerators at Site1 and Site2.
My Cloud Gateway currently behind firewall, and i using NAT from my external firewall to my GW, using port 6180 (default GW port).
Am i need to add another NAT rule for WAN accelerator with port 6165?

No, you do not need to publish additional ports other than the cloud gateway, this is the intended design to have a single port exposed over internet.

As in any job, I'd ask first what is the bottleneck listed in the backup job?
Also, you say backup job, are you meaning it's a direct backup sent to cloud connect? If yes, what backup mode are you using?
Also, the storage used at VCC is comparable to the one used local?

I've seen several service providers reaching 200-300 MB/s using cloud connect, as the gateway is not the bottleneck usually, but it's more often the target storage and the target wan accelerator. With the bandwidth you have, I'd try to use direct mode and skip the wan accelerator, to compare the results.

Bottlenecks:
1. For local repository - Source
2. For cloud repository - Network

Job backing up direct to cloud. I tried to use backup copy job instead direct backup, but speed still the same. I tried to use full backup/incremental backup. With deduplication/'without deduplication. There is no difference.

Local storage and cloud storage are enterprise-level storages and comparable.

If you change parameters and bottleneck is always the network, and with the same speed, seems indeed like a network problem.
With 800 Mbps, the maximum writing speed would be ideally 100 MB/s, but probably 90 would be more expected. Still 20 is a lot less than that indeed. Any other device or router hop that would maybe slow down the speed?

Have you tried a regular file copy between the two sites just to exclude is a general network issue?

I thought about file copy. I'll perform this tests tomorrow.

I think there is really network problems between site1 and site2.
From test site3 my speed seem more better.
