Network Bottleneck 99%

Post by Oskr »

Hi someone can help me

I have a problem with the replication of a vm SQL Server 2008, this vm is 900 GB and the this replicated by a channel 6 Mb / s , but replication is delayed 20 hours every time the task is executed, and the bottle network neck is 99 % , the source is 1% , the tarhet is 0 % and 1% proxy .

The settings are as follows :

Two ESXI v6 Host Update 2
direct attach storage connection
Two Proxies one source and one in the target
Wan channel 6 MB / s

what can I do in this case to reduce the time of the replica ?.

Additional when it begins processing the virtual disk bottleneck is placed in source and reaches 19 GB but immediately after changes to network with bottleneck 99 %

Hi Oskr,
Is your channel 6 MByte per sec or 6 Mbit per sec?
Have you considered WAN acceleration?
Thanks!
