Local Backup Repository

Hello,

I have a local repository for backup jobs and another off-site for backup copy jobs.
I would like to have another local backup copy repository so in case we have an issue with the local I wouldn't have to pull the restores for the off-site..
Which backup job should I use as the source for this new set of backup copy jobs?

Hi Said, you can use the same backup jobs as a source for the local backup copies that you're already using for the remote ones.

how about the scheduling, no risk for conflicts?

No, jobs will handle their access to files themselves, so provided you have backup window large enough to accommodate all the jobs, there shouldn't be any issues.

I have some that run weekly, daily, exchange and sql servers run every 4 hours.

You can set up a test backup copy job and see whether it answers your requirements.
