I have a library with two tape drives.
I have a single tape job configured with two sources: Source 1 is a backup copy job (standard destination, not per-vm backup chains), source 2 is an endpoint copy job (containing 4 endpoint sources)
The job is configured to send full backups to a "Full" media pool and incremental backups to an "Incremental" media pool.
Both the full and incremental media pools have the first parallel option enabled "Enable parallel processing for jobs using this media pool" and 2 drives selected.
The job seems to be only writing to one tape drive, should I have also enabled the 2nd option "Enable parallel processing of backup chains within a single job" to use both drives? (Now that I've written the question here, it seems to me I should have).

Re: Parallel tape job
Correct. Thanks. The job seems to be only writing to one tape drive, should I have also enabled the 2nd option "Enable parallel processing of backup chains within a single job" to use both drives?
