Extracting specific line data from VM backup history

Post by mckaj »

Hi All,

Not sure if it is possible to do this, but would like to extract specific line data from our Veeam backup history.

For example there is a line in each server in each job in history that says:
Removing VM Snapshot -> (Duration) h:mm:ss

I would like to (preferably programatically) pull all of those lines from all jobs for all servers for a specific date range.

I have had a delve into the SQL database. It seems remarkably well structured from my limited knowledge of SQL, but I have not worked out how to find this data in the tables.

Is there a reasonable way to do get this data?

Cheers

Hi,

If you need to get the statistics about snapshot operations then you might want to check Veeam ONE capabilities. Another option would be to use a PowerShell script that exports and parses session log automatically - please post the request on the PowerShell subforum if you need an assistance with scripting.

Thanks

Sorry for delay in post back... thanks for the pointer on Veeam One. That is not hte sort of data that I am looking for (I think), but did not know we got that out of Veeam One.

Will post in the powershell forum.

Cheers
