Feature Request: Schedule start time for periodic jobs

Post by gregg_hughes »

Good morning!

After working with support, I would like to propose the following feature: when scheduling a periodic job (every N hours/days/etc.) that we have the option to schedule the first run (dd:hh:mm) and then the job runs periodically after. I have tried to make the allow/deny table available under the "Schedule..." button suffice, but have only qualified success to date.

This feature would make periodic jobs much more predictable in their behaviour, and let users schedule the periodic job while ensuring that competing jobs don't overlap.

Thanks!

Gregg

Hello Gregg,
Thanks for your request! We will take it into account.
For now you can leverage one line powershell script and windows task scheduler to run the job at a specific time.
