Veeam 9 SQL Restore with Veeam explorer

Hello Folks,

During the configuration of VM explorer in the field "Use the following SQL Server" do I need to enter the name of the SQL Server hosting the Veeam DB or the server which I want to restore ?
I have tried both scenarios but no Databases are shown for restore.

With Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager I am able to select the needed DB for restore.

It refers to staging server to which SQL db is attached in some restoration scenarios. It can be either SQL Express server shipped by default with VB&R or fully blown SQL one running on a different machine (needed in case you're restoring db bigger than 10 GB). Thanks.

Do I need to install the Veeam Console module and do I need to install this module on every server on which I want to use Veeam Explorer for SQL ?

Can't you orchestrate the SQL restoration process from a central backup console? Or you have some different needs? Thanks.

I want to restore specific Database and as far as I understood this can be done from the SQL explorer.

What I understood from the guides is that for the SQL explorer to work I need to Install the Veeam Console but I don`t know if from one SQL explorer I can restore databases hosted on other servers or for every server I need to install Veeam Console.

You don't have to install multiple consoles (one per backed up SQL server) - everything can be executed from the very same machine used to backup SQL VMs. Thanks.
