How to get help with an error?

Post by ovidiu »

I just realized that when posting a new topic, there is this warning above the post box:

Code: Select all

POSTING AN ERROR OR TECHNICAL ISSUE?
You must include support case ID, or your post will be removed (learn more)
Now since I'm here posting in a support forum for a beta software we are testing what is the point of this restriction?
I mean don't you want to know about errors and technical problems? I thought that was the whole point of releasing betas.

Please let me know what the procedure is for resolving an error or technical issue.

For the beta you can post here. Support cases should not be opened as they won't be able to assist you. If you run into an error please use tools like dropbox, onedrive,... To share screenshots and/or logs :-)

Well, I tried and my post was deleted, apparently according to what I quoted above.
I'll give it another try in a few minutes.
