Truncating Exchange transaction logs
Normally, I let the Veeam backup of an Exchange server take care of the logs, however at one customer, due to a time window and an Exchange backup failure, I've had to put the backup job on hold for a week. Are there any issues with letting periodic replication jobs truncate the transaction logs? I understand I'll have to enable this feature for the specific times I want to run the replication job to truncate the logs, then turn it off. The environment is Veeam Backup 9 and Exchange 2010 running on Server 2008R2

That's absolutely fine. I don't foresee any issues with this approach.

Re: Truncating Exchange transaction logs
Hello,
There should be no significant problems regarding logs truncation.
I would just give the job enough time to complete.
Thanks!
