[Feature Request] Shows backup jobs for VMs

Post by zoltank »

In Veeam when I go to the Virtual Machines list to see all the VMs, it would be great to have an additional column which shows which backup jobs the VMs belong to.

Thanks for the feedback, but I guess you already can see that in the Backup & Replication -> Backups node. Can you please clarify your request? Do want to see protected/unprotected VMs? What if you have many jobs created for the VM (backup, backup copy, tape etc)?

I'd like to see which VMs I have allocated to which jobs, so I can quickly and easily see how my VMs are protected. If I have many jobs created for a VM I'll just resize the column. ;)

Got it, thanks for the feedback. As a workaround for now you can try to use Veeam ONE that does list all protected/unprotected VMs (including job names and latest restore points). It can also send you an alert if a VM backup didn't happen for the newly provisioned production VM (for example, due to someone forgetting to add this VM to a backup job).
