Issue claiming componenet not installed.

Post by szwicker »

After installing the software, I fired it up and attempted to create a job.
When I filled out either the CIFS or NFS information it stops me claiming that a component isn't installed not allowing that option.

Anyone see this?

Could you paste the error or screenshot you are receiving?

Not sure how to paste a screenshot here so I'll just quote it:

A box pops up stating:

Error:
Current system does not support cifs.
Please install cifs client package.

The error is dientical for nfs.

You will need to install these.

For cifs on debian/ubuntu for example:
apt-get install cifs-utils

For nfs on debian/ubuntu:
apt-get install nfs-common

For cifs on centos/redhat:
yum install cifs-utils

For nfs on centos/redhat:
yum install nfs-utils

Please let me know if you need additional help if you would have an other distro or have issues with installing one of these.

Might be a good idea to chuck these in your user guide? It wasnt clear which package I needed in your GA release until I came here :)
