Post by cmarrec »

Hi,

we are testing veeam agent for linux on a debian (8.5) on a virtual machine/

We try the volume restore and it's ok.
We want now, try the baremetal full-restore but we don't know how creat the baremetal iso.

Thank's for your help

In the zip file there is in the x64 folder a file named "veeam-recovery-media-1.0.0.499.iso". You can mount this to the VM (or a new empty VM) and then perform bare metal restore.

Thanks, it works now.
But I have an other problem. I have a shared folder (NFS) on a NAS. Backup is ok but when I try to restore, the connexion is refused.
The message is :
"mount.nfs : rpc.statd is not running but it is required for remote locking.
mount.nfs : Either use '-o nolock' to keep locks local, or start statd."

Do you have any idea for this ?

Thanks's for your help,
