Backup copy merge fail - Conflicting reports
I opened a case on this some time ago (#01854479), although this question wasn't the one addressed.
Please see the attached images. I get an email saying my backup copy failed, yet that very email says no warnings and no errors occurred...
In the morning I get to work and inspect the job logs. The errors are clearly shown, but then it says the job was a success.
Was it successful or was it not? If so, why am I getting a failure email that makes me all stabby first thing in the morning? If not, why does it not clearly say there were errors in the job?
Advice here? This doesn't seem very intuitive to me.
Forgive my tone. This is rather aggravating. Time-wasting false alarms are a pretty severe pet-peeve.

Terry, the merge succeeds after retry, but error messages are not "switched into green", hence you get the failed job status in the report. This will be addressed in the next version and hotfix for v9 is also available through support. Thanks.

I updated with the patch from support. I'm still seeing what looks to me like the same behavior. Error email....
...but the console appears to have the job succeeding.
The ticket I opened to get the patch is #01869826. I updated that ticket with a note as well, but didn't see anywhere to upload these screenshots.

Terry, this hotfix was not supposed to be included in v9 Update 2. It will be included in the upcoming v9.5.
