SOBR - Member Repository Full

Post by obrienr »

Hi,

We have a SOBR Backup Copy Target, with 6 member repositories, 3 dedicated to full, three to incremental.

We have free capacity across five, but one keeps filling to maximum. We have placed in maintenance mode, and evacuated some of the backup to the other repositories to free space. We do not empty fully. Once its back in use, it fills again in a short number of days.

Has anyone else seen this behavior ?

Thanks,
Richard.

Hi Richard,
Are those extents(members) of the same or different sizes? Have you included them in SOBR at the same time?
Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, all of the extents are the same size, and all were added at the same time.

Thanks,
Richard.

I'd suggest contacting support to review logs, since the behavior doesn't look expected. For some reason Veeam B&R considers other extents are either filled or not available during backup.
