Now the problem.
No matter what I do with the backup I always get errore
Job started at...
Starting backup
[error] Failed to create volume snapshot
[error] Unable to create snapshot. Not enough free space on disks.
[error] Failed to perform backup

I tried it with all options:
1. Full machine (recommended) - when error shows i was thinking, that maybe mounted network was a problem
2. Volume lvl - when erro shows i was woundring that i marked only dm partitions and that is just a not real partitions it's RAID0 partion
3. Volume LVL - i have chhaned only to sdb drive - same
4. File lvl backup - i started backup with minimum plan that is /home folder (and also a partition) and same no space
5. File lvl backup - that was the test i went to /home/name/download/veeamfolder/ - it contains only veeam files 360 mb i have space for that. BUT not it still have no free space

I have done all same things to destinations:
Local and Shared Folder
1. Local that was extra drive sdc with 1T space - same error
2. Local that was mounted folder from NAS - same error
3. Shared folder direct to NAS shared folder - same error

Please confirm:
RAID 0 not supported ?

If You have any sugestions please do so.
I will purge all veeam data and reinstall it, then i'll try to do the console setup manually from console without veeam gui...

Update:
I have Purge all
I have install all as before but before run i have run status check
/etc/init.d/veeamservice status
It was error not running
after reboot i have run veeam and start a new 1st job
It helps a bit on first glance but still no place to do a snapshot

Code: Select all

error No suitable devices for snapshot data storage were found
I was trying to set a folder backup /home

Code: Select all

Canot query directory /tmp/veeam/snapmnt/{some uiid}/: directory doesn't exists
Agent failed to process method {FileBackup.SyncDirs}
I turn on my external ext4 partition and and change to FULL Machine backup, and it runs
it has created some tmp partition
//nas/download 2,8T 2,0T 784G 73% /tmp/veeam/nasdownload

WTH

why it didn't start without my external partition ? (it's a 500G partition) it don't use it but it was not able to start whiteout it.
Not sure what happen but veam crashes. I return to gui via normal veeam command and i see the process is running, network is transmitting (nload) veeamagent --log is running (htop) and the space on NAS is getting smaller

after end of process I will try to gain access to files from backup and will keep updating.

It didn't create the partition but it mounted the partition. We use /tmp for mounting a temporary path to store the backup.

Hi,

We need to see veeam agent logs, please provide an archived /var/log/veeam directory

Also I can't see 1TB sdc drive anywhere, how do you use it?

Thanks

F. TO late i purge veeam before read this...
(no email about anwser... :/ )

But You know what, It done a Full Backup of my External drive all of it 5 partitions "windows" + 1 ext4 linux and it took 2h. The setting was whole machine ALL DATA. There was no linux data at all, and data from mounted drive was unridable without access.

I'll try to do it one more time and then i'll provide all log data...

Your external mounted disks are from a windows server?

Could you please try to backup /boot partition only, either to the external drive or to NAS shared folder?

Thanks

Thanks for the logs! Also I think that I know what is the problem... what if you try to turn on your external partition again and try to start volume backup that includes all volumes except the external one?

Thanks
