[question] no reliance on LVM snapshots ?

why do you have no reliance on LVM snapshots ? Where are the different between your snapshot and lvm snapshot ?

Our own snapshot method allows the usage of CBT backups and has less impact compared to LVM snapshots.

In addition to what Niels has said another big difference between our snapshot and LVM snapshot is that LVM snapshot works only with LVM
