Hello Paul,
The default number is 5 and it`s configurable via registry.
Contact Veeam support for an assistance if needed. Thanks!

Do you want to change task retry interval or transform interval?
Please check this user guide section.
Could you explain your case by the way?

Re: Backup Cop Jobs - Change automatic retry interval?
task retry. I have storage that is 'air gapped' from the network (and turned off). I want to perform a scheduled quarterly copy job to this storage, and I have setup an email notification on failure. So when I get the email failure it reminds me to connect and turn on the storage in readiness for the next retry. This why I want to change the timeout, I want VEEAM to attempt the quarterly copy, fail, email me, I can the connect storage and the copy will then can then retry, say, after an hour...

Does the backup copy job run quarterly and you turn on the repository just for that job?
Bu default backup copy job retries just after the failure, however you can manually start synchronization when the repository is connected.
Thanks!

Yep.. I am slightly paranoid I know, but I like a copy of my backups duplicated to in different ways. This backup is my 'if all else fails..' fall back.Shestakov wrote:Does the backup copy job run quarterly and you turn on the repository just for that job?
Ok, that is how I have been doing it, I was just looking to see if there was a 'slightly' more automated way of doing it.Shestakov wrote:Bu default backup copy job retries just after the failure, however you can manually start synchronization when the repository is connected.

I think I have found a way to script the power up/power down of the storage automatically, so I will see if I can run as part of the copy job.
Thanks for answering my weird questions over the weekend!

I see your point.
To automate current scheme, try to use pre-job script turning on the target.
And in general if you want to make a write-protected reserve copy there are cloud repositories and tape media.
