VEB bare metal restore of incrementals

Post by Hestheone »

My backup consists of a full and two incremental backups. I easily restored the full, but have no idea of how to apply the incrementals.

Can someone please point me? Thanks in advance.

Hi Hestheone,

During recovery procedure you need pick a restore point. If it’s incremental all the changes will be applied automatically during restore.

Hi Dima,

Well I'll be.....
Thank you; that certainly did the trick and I am in fine shape now. I had thought it was like building a cake where you start with the full and add the incrementals but I can clearly see how just going directly to the restore point is a much better idea.
Thanks again.
