A repository is currently accessed as a CIFS share by a proxy in network mode.
We have several jobs using the repository.
I plan to enable the proxy use Direct access mode.
Can I keep the current jobs and files on the repository without any risk to damage them as soon as the transport mode changes?
Shoud I create new jobs (I hope NO!!!).

You're talking about repository but referring to transport mode used to retrieve VM data from production datastore. Could you please clarify what you're trying to achieve?
