E-Mail sender / recipient adress changing?

Post by almendro »

Hi,

I've just tested the feature e-mail notification in VEB.
Works great, but spam filters are rather strict with my mail provider.

At the moment when you enter your own address (recipient) the sender mail address is set to the same adress.
In my case what I want to do:
Use domain-a to send a mail with user credentials-a to a recipient on domain-b.

This is due to the fact that I don't want to use my own credentials to send mails, so I use a separat mail address (on a different domain) to send mails.

I hope it is clear what I want to achieve?!

greetings
Christoph

Hi Christoph,

Unfortunately, there is no way to set up two different email addresses in UI. Any chance you use VBR as a repository?

Hi Dmitry,

Thanks for your reply.
I don't really want to set up two different email addresses, but I just want to specify the sender mail address (which is the mail address from the credentials I'm using), as it is different from the recipient address.
No I'm not using VBR.

Thanks. I understand you request but VEB email notifications were designed for personal use, so there is no way to customize the addresses. There is a possible workaround, to set email notification anyway you want via task scheduler. Check this thread for more information
