Unable to restore/view incremental backup

Post by sdcisa »

Hi,

i am quiet new to VEB. I have taken total three backups. one full backup 14days back and two incremental backups yesterday.

i want to restore my complete files and folders from 14 days till date to one folder in my D drive.

i am able to open 1st full backup but unable to open the LAST two incremental backups.

Please advice. my case ID is 01974497

Regards
SD

Hi Sam and welcome to the community!
You need to double-click .vbk or .vbm file in the file explorer and then choose the restore point. In your case there should be three of them.
If that`s not the case, please elaborate on the issue.
Thanks!

As soon as i click on the full backup recovery point, it opens up. but the remaining two recovery points which are incremental and has my more recent 100gb backup isnt opening up. it says that an error has been logged please review the logs. but i am unable to view the log file.

Logs can be found at C:\ProgramData\Veeam
Since the issue is pretty generic, please keep investigating it with Veeam support.
Thanks!

Hi Sam,

Support for VEB is 'at best effort' so there might be delays in responding, specifically during weekends. Can you clarify, are you up and running now ( I noticed that you case was marked as resolved at support side)? Thanks.
