Back Verification

Hi,
I am looking for regular backup verification while backing up all my VMs.
I know SureBackup is answering my question but I am looking for like SQL backup verification. As I read, only the health check tab in the advanced section can be a solution for me. So, you guys may have another solution in order to point me out and solve or lead to me.

On this page (for VMware) https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95 and on this page (for Hyper-V) https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95 you can see how you can do SQL backup verification. Besides the script that we deliver, you can actually add scripts there from your own. For example, there are customers that use a script to launch a specific query to a database and read what the result is afterwards. If the result of that query matches the expectation, then they know that their recovery is successful.

Thanks for answer. But,i know that I can verify with either script or surebackup. But i want to know whether Veeam has a feature to verify backup instantly while backing up data. I saw health check section but it looks like different. Does it have instant verify while backing up?

Ah, my apologies, misunderstood that...

Backup health checking: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95 but that will just check whether the backup chain is valid and consistent. That combined with a surebackup job (after the backup) is (imho) a great verification combination. The first one checks whether there is no issue after the backup is taken and SureBackup ensures that your SQL vm is are actually recoverable (and test if the DB is in a good state)

What kind of verification are you looking for? CRC check on the blocks, application checks, else? It's not clear...
