which format does veeam use to write backups?
Is there a way to read the tapes with linux tools or other tools?

If you're asking about tape backups, then it's MTF.

Nope, only VB&R can read data written to tapes by VB&R. Thanks.Is there a way to read the tapes with linux tools or other tools?
