Zipped log files

On a Veeam B&R server I see dozens of files in the folder containing Veeam log files with manes like: <job_name>_<number>.zip.
Can I safely delete them?

Log files can be deleted manually indeed. Otherwise, you can play with the settings mentioned here in order to decrease number of log files stored. Thanks.

Thank you for the pointer.
I changed the registry settings to decrease the nomber of saved logs but I see that old logs are not deleted.
Is there any way to force the deletion of old logs?
As an alternate solution, can I edit the registry so that from now logs are saved in a different folder, wait for a reasonable amount of time (one week?) and then delete the old folder?
Is there any alternate solution?

Have you restarted the backup after making the changes, as it is advised in KB?

As a temporary solution is there any issue about compressing (via NTFS settings) the log files?
Many files are text, so I presume I can save a lot of space...

Yes, NTFS compression can be used on the logs folder.

I'm still fighting against disk space issues on my Veeam B&R server.
In the Veeam logs folder I see lots of directories whose name looks like <vm_name> and whose content is a sigle file whose name is: VeeamAgent.MountVm.log; the last change occurred in 2015...
Other forders are named as <job_name> and the contents look like:

Task.<vm_name>.vm-55504_1.log

The last change occurred in 2015 as well.
I strongly suspect that they are osolete files and folders.
How can I detect if I can safely delete them?

Basically, you can safely delete any log files, this will neither affect product operation nor your ability to restore.

In the last couple of years the folder c:\users\all users\veeam\* has grown with logfiles, zipfiles, setup files, etc.
As the capacity of the C:\ drive is limted, I was wondering if I could do some cleanup in this folder.
Are there any recommendations on what can be deleted and what not?

Hi

I am trying to see if there is a better way of managing the backup log files. We have them on a seperate drive. Currently all I appear to be able to do is extend the virtual disk as the files increase in size.
Currently the folder is taking up a 100gb of disk space.

Is there away of truncating these?
