yesterday I changed my Backup Repository to another NAS. I copied the folder and changed the path in VEB, but I cannot restore "Backup not found".
I have not tried to backup yet, because I don't want to waste capacity of my NAS.
Can you open the restore wizard from VEB, go one step back and then select specifically the VBM file in that new location? Can you check if that works?
Kindly, open a support case via VEB Control Panel > Support and let the team check your application logs. Do not forget to update this thread with the case ID. Thank you.
today I tried to make a new backup in the new repository on my NAS.
VEB has made a .vib (increment) file so it semms that VEB recognizes the .vbm file and the folder change is working.
Now when I click on the last job in the VEB-Console the File Restore works.
But when I click on the second last backup job to restore (old Repository) it doesn't works.
But that's no problem, because when I start the File Level Restore APP manually not over the Management Console I can see all Restore Points (Full, Increment).
Now I get it - thanks for clarifying. If you start recovery via Control Panel it tries to connect to the repo with the current settings from your backup job. Since the settings were changed – it’s not possible to launch a recovery for old restore points via CP. File level recovery or volume recovery wizards should be used in such case, where you can manually specify location and pick the required restore point.
thank you!
Tomorrow I had a WebEx remote session with Ilia and after a new backup I can restore the last backup via the console, but only the last one.
