Server-Side Configuration

Post by basic39 »

Hello,

I tested the Veeam agent for Linux and I like it.
The only problem is that the most of configuration(for example, make a new backup job) is made on the Client-Side.
Would it be possible in the next versions to configure the backup jobs on the Server-Side?

Would it be the same with the Veeam agent for Windows?

Do you mean on VBR server side? If so then such request is already on the roadmap for future versions.

Thanks!

Yes, I mean VBR. Great.

Hi basic39,

Sure. We are tracking this request very seriously for both Linux and Windows Agents. Thanks for the feedback.
