can the windows endpoint client be configured to backup to a cloud destination(AWS for example)?

Hi Alex, you can target VEB to the Veeam backup repository which will be installed in the VM in the public cloud infrastructure, but it is not possible to target jobs to public clouds directly. Alternatively, you can try to reach out to our VCSPs (Veeam cloud providers) to discuss options of storing backups in the cloud location.

Additionally, you can use Amazon Gateway VTL in conjunction with Veeam Endpoint Backup Free and Veeam Backup and Replication Free edition (file to tape jobs). It will give you an option to store backup files on emulated tape media replicated to the amazon storage.
