I'm just comparing features between free edition backup and licensed as I've got a customer only looking to backup a single SharePoint instance but needing granular recovery. VEEAM free edition makes sense for this however when reading the documentation it states this:
"Free Edition supports SharePoint item restore via save, send and export."
What exactly does save, send and export mean here?
Thanks for the help.

Re: SharePoint Restore with Free Edition.
Hi,
It means you can't restore it back to the original environment. So if the user wants to recover (let's say) a word document from one of the SharePoint libraries, he/she can save the document locally, send it through email or simply export it to a location somewhere.
Hope it helps
Mike
