Hi,

Even when you are in testing phase you can open a support call. That will get you informed when there is a solution so you can continue testing.

PS: Did you started testing before 1st of January or after?

The fix for this issue will be available within Update 1 for Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365, everyone with the case opened should get the pilot version of this update once it is available.

Hi Alex,

What's the timescale? "The Overlords" are getting twitchy...which is amazing really; three months ago they had no backup of O365! Now it's all "is there anything we can put in place!" and screams of anguish and gnashing of teeth!

Same boat here! Powers that be were OK with Microsoft doing all the O365 backem-upping before (whatever THAT is worth when a user deletes something important and realizes it just outside of their recovery timeframe!)

Veeam support has sent me the new version with the bugfix included and now it's working in our case. :D

Good to hear. I believe we are spreading out the new version with the bugfix to all people with this support case, but we are still monitoring close. Please keep us informed of any issue arises

The patch works like a charm for our envoroment :) it is now version 1.0.0.912

Did not receive it -- They auto-closed 02031718 without resolving the issue. Disappointed.

Steve,

From what I can see, they have tried to reach out for you but had no response. You also should have received an email that you can phone a number and reference your support ID to re-open it. Then you should be able to get the bugfix.

Emails asked for me to update with any new info... I had none, and was just waiting for the update. Figured it would stay open until it was ready.

Reached out to re-open the ticket, am now being told there is no fix available and to wait for it in the upcoming weeks.

Uninstalling and trying other products at this point. Really poor service, Veeam. Really poor.

I also submitted a case and support wasn't helpful at first until I prodded for 1.0.0.912 and received the download link. Unfortunately all of our clients on the product are still failing. I'd hate to drop Veeam as we're about to sign for all of our clients and having such a core issue is not comforting...

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately our backups are still failing. Some customers are just select mailboxes with the error while others won't backup any. All are running 1.0.0.912.

I can try my best but I do have to pull the cord on a number of customers as I can't afford much more of a backup gap. I'll keep a few for QC/Dev testing. Feel free to escalate the case too if need be: #02039980

Thanks Steve! If the issue arises, please let us know. And please accept my apologies for the issues that happened with you today. Our support director is going to review this and take the measures so we don't have this issue again. I know it is just an excuse, but it was a miscommunication on our side. We do our best, but sometimes we make mistakes and then we learn from it :-)
