Tape Library Rename

Hello

A tape library has been renamed and a media pool now shows shows the tape library as blank. Is there any way to get this media transferred to a new media pool which will update the tape library name and keep retention?

What exactly do you mean by library rename? Changing the name of tape server a library is connected to or some operation conducted via library own native tools? Thanks.

Tape Infrastructure - Libraries. A library has been renamed from here.

I was not able to confirm the issue in my lab. I renamed library, re-scanned tape server and everything went great without any problems experienced.

So, it stands to reason to reach our support team for further investigation.
