Cyclical redundancy error
Hello, while trying to backup a clients local VM DC, Veeam returned a cyclical redundancy error message "Failed to upload" disk. Does anyone know what would be causing this?

Re: Cyclical redundancy error
Did the error contain something like "cannot open NFS stream"? It may be due to the connectivity issues between Veeam server and target host/datastore: if Veeam cannot communicate with the node due to the DNS resolution issues (ie cannot resolve node01.corp.local), it will fail to upload the disk.

Re: Cyclical redundancy error
Jay, the issue is pretty generic - debug log review is needed. Have you already contacted support?

Yes, I contacted support. There was a bad hard drive on the server. Replaced drive. Backups are working again. Thanks for your replies
