Hi,
we're using the replication moodule to distribute a VM in a network of ESX hosts. There are 5 virtual citrix servers within, and we've got a strange problem on one of them:
every time the replication finishes, Users are being kicked off from their responsive citrix sessions. We can see this by having a look a the event log, which shows a "551" event ("user initiated logoff", which is definitely not the case). This _always_ happens 1-2 minutes after the replication job finished. Any help is appreciated.
thanks in advance,
hendrik

Re: Citrix-Server: Users are kicked off when replication fin
Hello Hendrik,
This is a known issue which is related to VMware (happens due to snapshot removal operations).
Please take a look here (and subsequent links): Many VM's dropping packets losing pingstate during rep/back for a long discussion on this topic.

Try upgrading to ESX 4.1 as many people reported it brings significant improvements to snapshot consolidation.
