Set Archive Bit for File to Tape Job

Post by cthomas801 »

Hello all,

I'm looking for a way to get the archive bit set on all files successfully written to tape by a File to tape job. I'm assuming this could be accomplished with a post job powershell script. Any scripting experts willing to help out?

Thank you for the link. That is very close to what I need. A follow up question would be is there an easy way to pull a list of files that have been backed up to tape successfully, by a file to tape job in Veeam?

You can query SQL db directly to check what files have been written to tapes. Be aware to replace removal part with the one that sets archive bit. Thanks.
