auto it and veeam endpoint

Post by jdelahaye »

hello,

i am trying to edit a script in the goal to set up a veeam enpoint file level backup task.
the problem is the following, when i am tring to get an handle to the treeview to select the file to backup, i am always getting the 0x0 value.

$cthd = ControlGetHandle($whdconfig, "", "[CLASS:WindowsForms10.SysTreeView32; INSTANCE:1]")

So I have ran "autoit window" info to retreive the Class used in the software.
the class i have retreived is the next one :
[CLASS:WindowsForms10.SysTreeView32.app.0.1e84ccb_r11_ad1; INSTANCE:1]

furthermore,
the app.0.1e84ccb_r11_ad1 part seems to be a random number in the goal to prevent deployement of you software.

Am i wrong?

I have found the solution

If you are in the same case, get the class name from the main window and put the end of the fetched string in a string variable wich is beeing concatenated with another to make the complete classname

Hi Jacky,

Thanks for sharing. Configuration API comes in v2, so it might give you a hand in central configuration distribution. Stay tuned for updates.
