I have a fairly straight-forward request.
For the majority of our mailboxes, we have a retention policy of 7 years in place. However, we have a few mailboxes that are used for a very specific purpose and we only really need to retain 30 days of e-mails in those mailboxes. This is a rather important issue for us since those mailboxes can be several GB's per month, so have a 1 year retention policy on it puts an unnecessary strain on local storage space.
The request boils down to being able to create different retention policies for different backup jobs.
Thanks!

Re: Feature Request: More Granular Retention Policy Control
I meant to add that it would also be nice to be able to select retention policies even shorter than 1 year. Maybe even down to number of months.

Re: Feature Request: More Granular Retention Policy Control
Hi,
We are looking into different ways of doing this in further releases. One way would be to allow multiple repositories with different settings. But there are others in our mind.
But good request, thanks for that and we will take it to the table (but as always, no promises )
Cheers
Mike
