Surebackup and the Backup File Integrity Check

Post by kevin_cambs_uk »

I have a few Sure backup Jobs and they work a treat. For example, we can bring up our Exchange Server, with a DC in Sure backup and we can connect to the mail store.
Now I want to validate the backup file integrity as well.

On the Sure backup job, I have enabled the Backup file Integrity check tick box, but underneath, the 'Skip Validation for application group VMs' is ticked but that option cannot be changed as its is grey out.

When I run the job, it says the validation is not enabled. However I set a new job up as a test and enabled the setting and this one does validate but the setting looks the same as above for the job that does not validate...

I am going round in circles here, is there something stupid I am doing>?

Thanks all.

Its okay I sorted it, it was because if you set the AG to keep running, it will not validate the discs.
