Enterprise Manager permissions

Post by withanh »

I searched a bit and couldn't find anything relating to this.

Can I assign user permissions to certain jobs via Enterprise Manager? For example, I have a user who manages 3 servers. These servers are in a VM Group and get backed up via this group. In VMware, I can assign this user permissions to control this group of VMs only, but I would also like to do something similar with Enterprise Manager. I don't want to give him full access into the Veeam server, but if I could assign him permissions to "his" backup job and his "clone into lab" job I wouldn't have to help him manage his servers.

Thanks!

Hi Darhl, no at this time this is not possible, but we are looking to add this functionality in future. Right now, our permission granularity is a backup server. Thanks!

Thanks Anton. I expected as much but wanted to be sure.
