Actually, it does. You just need to place backup file in the directory specified in job settings. Mapping will work automatically when backup job starts. Check this post
I'm not sure I follow now. What are you exactly trying? Saving a VAW backup to a local VBR repository and then having (from there a BCJ) to a remote location?
on one site I have a local backup with endpoint backup.
Now I want to seed this backup to another branch office.
With the normal Hyper-V backup via Backup and Replication I can create an auxiliary backup repository (for example an USB drive) to seed the backup to another location, after copying the backup files to the new location at the branch office, I can use the new location as an backup repository in the backup copy job.
So I want to do the same thing with my Endpoint Backup.
The big question is where you store the local backup. Is that a B&R repository? In that case it is pretty easy because the moment it lands there, you have the same possibilities as with your Hyper-V backups so seed away
If it is not a B&R repository, I assume you can simply copy the backup on a USB disk (Take the VBM, VIB and VBK to have all and the latest version) and move it to the remote location. Then you should be able to import it to the repository. But again, it would be easier if you have landed it locally on a B&R repository, then all the possibilities are there
