Physical server parameters and StoreOnce
Hi
I will use Physical server and StoreOnce for Backup.
Should I observe this rule:
"Backup Repository Server: Memory: 4 GB RAM, plus up to 2 GB RAM (32-bit OS) or up to 4 GB RAM (64-bit OS) for each concurrent job depending on backup chain’s length and backup files sizes."
What is good configuration for Physical server (when have 20 vm).
Thank you!

What Veeam B&R components this physical server will run? Will it be the backup server itself running the repository role as well? What about the proxy? Are you going to utilize Catalyst and assign this server the role of a gateway as well?

I will use this server for all components that are needed. There will also be attached tape drive to the server for backup copy job.
Yes I think to use Catalyst.
All backup files will be saved on storeonce.
I do not know whether I should use this rule in determining the size of the server.

This server would need to have combined system requirements for all the assigned roles, so you need to sum up those for the backup server, proxy, gateway server, etc. In case of 20 VMs you need just a single job, I assume.

Re: Physical server parameters and StoreOnce
In this case i need:
RAM: server: 4GB + 500MB (1 job), proxy 2GB +200MB, tape 2GB+200MB, repository doesn't need because will be use StoreOnce = 9 GB will be enough for Veeam.
RAM: 16/32 GB
CPU: One 8 cores should be enough.

Re: Physical server parameters and StoreOnce
Do you use Catalys or Ethernet or FC?
If Ethernet you should check your NIC Offload and RSS Settings.
In my case Enabling RSS with multiple Cores and enabling all offload possibility’s was an enhancement.

You also need to add specs for the gateway server, so I'd go with 32 GB of RAM.
