I have a, sometimes bad WLAN. This is the reason why my Win10Pro tablet can't do a backup, because the access to my NAS often fails while doing the backup Job. Is it possible to seperate the backup from merging? That means, first do the backup with Status message, then, perhaps only if idle, do the merging of the backups.
Another feature would be: do the merging of the backup from another device, in my exaple from my Desktop pc. The Desktop pc is connected the the NAS via Gigabit LAN and not via WLAN.

Thank you for the feedback. We actually have another feature that can help with you issue – Backup Cache. It allows you to keep restore point locally and sync it with your remote target after the backup job is completed. You can test this feature in VAW 2.0 Beta.
