I'm using the free Veeam Endpoint Backup. Backups (to a remote NAS) are working great. Restores, not so much.
Having just lost a machine due to an apparently corrupt backup (Failed to decrompress LZ4 block. Bad crc), I now want to make sure all my other machine backups are good. Is there a tool that can be used to do this?
Thanks

Re: Validate backup
Hello and welcome to the community!
There is no automatic backup recoverability check yet, the feature is going to be added in future versions.
You may install free or trial version of Veeam Backup and Replication to perform file and volume-level restores.
Thanks!

Re: Validate backup
Indeed, recovery is the only way to verify your backup is operational. Veeam B&R is not required, just start a file level restore from VEB machine.I now want to make sure all my other machine backups are good. Is there a tool that can be used to do this?
