Veeam agent x endpoint, pricing

Post by PeterN11 »

Hi,
is there some resume how will be handled new Agent pricing?

Now we using Endpoint backup to Veeam repository and we are quite happy (known limitations about planning, remote management etc..)

Now announced Veeam Agent - is there descprition what is aviable?
mean Endpoint backup will be closed?

Is there any pricing model? We dont want to switch, reconfigure all clients etc.. and after 6-12 months will be surprised with price for Veam agent

we talking about 200-300 W7-W10 workstations

Thanks

According to this page the free version will still be available and updated to version 2, additional functionality beyond endpoint will be available in the paid versions. https://www.veeam.com/blog/veeam-agent- ... lable.html

I haven't seen any pricing for the windows agent, but pricing is available from resellers for the linux agent for server/workstation and I have been assuming similar pricing.

Veeam Endpoint Backup will be renamed Veeam Agent for Windows so v2 is the next version of the previous Veeam Endpoint Backup.

There will be 3 editions: free, workstation & server edition. The difference can be found in this blog post. Pricing is available via this link and there is also a promo ongoing which gives you 6 months for free.

The blog post has a chart at the bottom ;-).

Currently there are no plans for a Apple agent as most of them stick to timemachine.
