Nimble/Veeam integration and standalone snapshots

Post by jregel »

Hi

I want to use the Nimble snapshot integration feature in Veeam 9.5, but also want the ability to take standalone Nimble snapshots of the same datastores (at different times).

Would taking Nimble snapshots "manually" cause any problems with Veeam jobs that have Nimble integration?

Thanks.

This won't impact the Veeam jobs. You can manually make Nimble snapshots without a problem.

What is even cooler is that Veeam can look into the Nimble initiated Snapshots and still restore from them too.
