Veeam Backup Endpoint Free

Post by jcasanellas »

Hello,

I have a client with which I made a backup of a PST, is there any client to be able to extract the data? I want to get the data from vbk but I do not want to have to install the whole software.

I have tried copying the Extractor but it extracts the whole disk and not only the files, which for 4 files that occupy 4GB occupies 500Gb of the disk.

The copy is made with File level Backup.

There is no explorer? Or a program to extract the data? I just want to extract a file from the image.

Thank you very much.

regards

You can browse the VBK file from Veeam Backup and Replication or Veeam Endpoint, but im pretty sure that you will need to install the software (an admin will confirm this). Once thats installed, you can browse the file, pick out what you want to restore, and then copy the data to a location.

Right. Extractor tool won’t work with VEB/VAW backup files, so you have to install VEB/VAW on your computer or use Veeam B&R console for file level recovery.
