Table restore through VESQL

Post by dbr »

Hi,

I'm just testing restores with Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SQL Server. One szenario is to restore a specific table only. It seems that it was possible via U-AIR in versions prior to v8 (stated here). I couldn't find any possibility to restore a table but only restore point-in-time or back to loaded restore point in the current version (9.5 U1). Is it still not possible to restore a single table? Do I have to restore the database next to the production database and use native tools for table restore? I neither want to use U-AIR nor become a dba specialist ;).

This functionality has been added in v9 I believe. Please take a look at:

Ahh, ok. I will test it. That's what I was looking for. Didn't expect that the table restore hides under schema restore but now it seems logical to me. Thanks!
