chef cookbook for veeam linux agent

Post by kevinp »

Hello,

I was just wondering if someone has already written a cookbook for installing veeam linux agent? I asked the support and they said veeam company doesn't have one. Obviously we can write our own but it would faster to use one already exists :)

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the community!

I'm not quite sure what cookbook you need. We've got general directions explained in the User Guide (p.27). If you need that to be more specific please elaborate.

Thank you

There is currently no public cookbook as far as I know. I am working on val & chef together but this will be for somewhere in May/June when I publish it.

There is already a module for puppet available at https://github.com/nielsengelen/val-puppet
