Will Veeam DRR back up email archives?

Hey!
Just a small concern here. We are implementing Veeam disaster recovery at our company. Before it's finished, we would like to know if it backs up our huge email archive efficiently? We will be happy to avoid purchasing another service for it. So if veeam service provides it, it'll be very good for us. If it's there, can we recover just those archives in case of an emergency? It's very important for our company to keep our emails, old and new safe from a disaster, which is why we are taking extra precautions to avoid a data disaster. It'll really helpful if someone could reply as soon as possible.

For your question: I'm afraid you will have to give me some more information.
* Your mail archive, are you talking about Microsoft Exchange or another specific solution?
* Is that archive solution installed on a VM (or multiple VMs)
* Are you protecting those with Veeam B&R and then offsite to a service provider?

* It's Microsoft Exchange archives
* Yes, they are on a single VM.
* We are planning to protect them with Veeam, and an off site backup is what we have in mind.

One most important thing to know is, whether we can retrieve these archive data alone, if a need comes.

Yes, that is possible.

You will be able to use our Veeam explorer for Exchange to achieve this.
