Get VMs in a job

Post by nergal »

I got a backup for a vCenter server, it includes multiple VMs. How can I through the REST API get number of VMs in the backup-files? I just want VMs for a specific job and not for the whole system.

I can't find any VM related in the jobs/backups. It has the job/<id>/includes but those objects are just the vCenter server in this case.

Solved. I found them in backupSessions and filtered them out for backupFiles.

Also, you can query /backups/id resource to get list of /restorepoint entities and get VM names from there. Thanks.
